My stay at Il Borro was absolutely incredible! The place is a true gem nestled in a medieval village, perfect for unwinding. Il Borro offers a stunning and unique atmosphere in a renovated medieval village. The warm hospitality from staff made our stay memorable, and the range of activities available was fantastic. However, the dining experience could be improved with better management, and some facilities, such as the pool, were not fully operational during our visit.
Our stay at Il Borro ended up being a mixed bag. On one hand, the grounds and views are absolutely stunning, making the experience worthwhile. However, the service was lacking, particularly with staff not knowing how to assist with advertised amenities. Overall, while it's clearly a beautiful location, certain missteps in service ensure we won't be rushing back anytime soon.
Staying at Il Borro offered a magical experience in an enchanting medieval village, but unfortunately, our accommodation was a letdown. While the pools and dining at Osteria del Borro impressed us, the room we received did not match the photos, making for a disappointing experience overall. Service was well-intentioned but fell short, especially with regard to responsiveness and adequacy during our stay.
